Year 4 Remote Learning

Optional February Half-Term Homework
Although there is no expectation that children work in the half-term holiday, we always set our Creative Homework before a school break, so children can start investigating their new topic, if they choose to.
Here are a few ideas and suggestions for them to look at:
1. Creative Homework (start investigating your new topic! Copy posted below)
2. Science Week Project
3. Art competition
4. Screen Free Projects (posted below)
As well as continuing to access:
5. MyMaths
6. Reading Plus
7. Times Table Rock Stars
8. Purple Mash
They can even revisit this half term's learning to practice what they have already learned using:
9. Oak National Academy
10. BBC Bitesize
(Links to these are on this page)
Welcome to the Year 4 Remote Learning page!
A printed pack of remote learning can be collected from outside the main Reception to support children with limited access to devices or connectivity. New packs are available on Monday of each week.
All work can also now be found on Google Classroom.
In line with the current government guidance, we are providing an average of 4 hours work a day. There is a timetable for you to use, to help you arrange your child's learning.

You must try to logon every day to join your class online and complete your tasks for the day.
Each year group has a morning time slot where you will check in with your class and the teacher will explain the daily tasks. Every afternoon you will check in again to review your morning's work and get feedback.
Each year group has a different time each week to allow families with siblings and only one device to have the chance to speak with their teacher daily.
You can still email your completed work for your teacher to see to: as well as email any questions about remote learning.
