14th September 2018

Hello everyone,

I hope you have all had a super week.  I had a great day yesterday with Year 3 on their trip to a Stone Age settlement deep in the forest.  Ghulam and Abdul Wahid looked after me really well and we all had a great time., especially making bread with our hands!  Very messy!

Thank you to the children and parents for their good wishes and gifts today on the occasion of a special birthday for me—I don’t know how you found out but I am very blessed to have such a wonderful family of staff, children and parents at Thornton.

I hope you all have a super weekend—looking forward to seeing you all next week!

Sue Simmons, Headteacher.
