Hello everyone,,

As you are all aware, this year we have arranged each class into an “owl house”: the five houses are Barn Owl, Eagle Owl, Great Horned Owl, Snowy Owl and Tawny Owl. The children have been working hard since September to gain house points for themselves and class points for their whole class (House). The more points they gain, the more rewards they receive. Has your child received a reward yet? Why not ask them!

In order to promote this healthy competition, we will be publishing the weekly totals for the house points in every newsletter from now on. So watch this space. Mrs Grace. Acting Deputy Headteacher.

Children in Need

A big thank you to all pupils, staff and parents who donated to Children in Need. We raised an incredible £1130.00!!! Well done everyone. This is amazing! All the pupils and staff looked really good and a real effort was made with costumes.

If this is your car parked on the NO PARKING ZONE outside school, please do not do it again. You caused a lot of disruption!!!

“This week some of our Gifted and Talented Year 6 mathematicians attended the National Young Mathematicians Award competition semi-final.

The children solved tricky problems as a team. If we get through, the next round is at Cambridge University. Fingers crossed!” Mr Roberts.
