Hello everyone,

Well done to all the Year 6 children who absolutely sailed through their SATs this week. I think some of them even enjoyed it with one boy remarking ‘It was too easy!’ after the maths test. Thank you to the children’s families who ensured the children were here on time and well rested every day. Next week it is Year 2’s turn to do their SATS and we know they will be absolute stars! Good luck Year 2!

Have a great weekend everyone.

Safari Park

Year 4 enjoyed a trip to West Midlands Safari Park this week. With the aid of a ranger, they explored the African Plains on the look-out for giraffes, lions and cheetahs!

Zakariya (4JW) said "I couldn’t believe how huge the giraffes are, they came right up to the window!" Later in the day, classes from Year 4 were given the opportunity to learn from an experienced ranger about different animals from each layer of a Rainforest and some children even held animals such as millipedes and stick insects! All children agreed it was a wonderful trip and are looking forward to visiting again. In the next few weeks, we will

be having another Bumper Newsletter which will include lots of pictures of the trip.

Tuck Shop

Some children have been bringing into school £5, £10 and even £20 notes to buy items from the Tuck Shop. Please can parents ensure that children bring in a maximum of £1 per day to spend on the Tuck Shop.

We would also like to say a big thank you to the Year 5 pupils who helped out with the Tuck Shop while the Year 6s have been busy with their SATS. You all did a great job!
