Thornton Times

5th February 2016

Hello everyone, Our ongoing improvements to the school site are designed to keep children safe. Thornton Road and St. Agatha’s Road can get very congested at the start and end of the school day so we ask for your support to ensure that cars are parked legally and safely. Parking and stopping is not allowed on the red zone, this law can be enforced by a penalty fine. As a healthy school we encourage children to walk to school where possible, alternatively you could avoid the congestion by parking a little further from school and join in with others walking to school.

Next week is another exciting and eventful week. Children will be participating in Maths Problem Solving activities in workshops involving puzzles and games! It is also National E-Safety Day on Tuesday 9th February, further details of our e-safety awareness assembly for parents and workshops are included within this newsletter! Happy reading—Mr Barnsley
